This is March, EARLY in the season. By the middle of the season the sun sets right behind Tikis.
What time of year was this photo taken? Seems like the sun is setting lower on the horizon than when I was there on May/June.

- Entering into our 10th season of receiving guests, WavePark Mentawai is proud to announce new developments in 2008. Our all-inclusive service has been upgraded again to include direct flights between mainland Sumatra and the Mentawai Islands. We have also built 2 new bungalows on the path walking towards our home break, Hideaways. With mini-bar, indoor/outdoor bathrooms, TV/DVD, fans 24/7 and spectacular views of Hideaways and the sunset each night, WPM has moved to a new level of comfort. However, building new facilities does not mean adding more surfers to the line-up. We only accept a maximum of 14 guests at a time, and they have the island to themselves!
